Breaking the code
In the diagram to the left are shown the possibilities or codons. There are 64 triplet codes for amino acids. some codons represent the same amino acid. Out of the 64 triplet codes on 61 are translated. what happened to the last 3? the last three known as UAA, UGA, and UAG mean stop as in that is where the polypeptide is completed and the polypeptide chains starts with the codon AUG.
